What would Hell look alike, if we re-invented it today? Twenty two Greek writers rebuild Dante’s Hell, choosing the new villains from modern literature and recent history. Their short stories are complemented with intermediate texts which quote directly from Dante’s Hell. The editor’s introduction to the book is an essay about the genealogy of evil in literature and philosophy. Conclusions are also drawn: how much differs the perception of evil in the 21st century compared with the medieval times of Dante Alighieri?
