The Well at the World’s End by William Morris, this thrilling narrative inspired by Icelandic sagas, is published for the first time in Greek, contributing to the acknowledgement of William Morris by the Greek reading public. The Greek text (so far, the two of the four volumes of the work have been translated and published) follows the pattern of the original Morris language (which imitated medieval English), using a rhythmical language, which brings into the mind of the reader the medieval songs and plays of the Greek literary tradition. This work has already been positively reviewed by Greek critics and readers.
