She reports her experiences, what she felt by her contact with the Divine, as it is expressed in the context of Candomble, together with the mainstream beliefs, Mythology and Theology of Candomble, in this brief introduction to the profound religious belief of a fascinating non-Western religious universe of Brazil.
Marianna Astraka was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. She studied journalism and Mass Media in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and acquired a Master’s Degree in London in the field of Video and Video Documentary. She has directed the documentariesCandomble (21΄, 2006) andCapoeira Play in Greece (26΄, 2008).
